The workshops for the 2026 Annual Bazaar have been announced, and this is shaping up to be one of our best events yet! Besides the two classes being taught by our headliner, Tina Maric, we are excited to welcome 3 professional dancers and instructors coming all the way from Chicago for the Bazaar: Phaedra Darwish, The Queer Heretic, and Danielle L. Echols. Note that Phaedra was the headliner at our 2023 Summer’s End event held in Evansville, Indiana, and we are thrilled to have her back.
Class specific items to bring:
- For Tina’s “Mejance with Drum Solo” class, you are invited to bring a two-panel skirt that is larger in the back. See sample at the bottom of this post.
- For Jennifer’s “Yoga for Dance Posture” class, you should bring a yoga mat and any other props you would normally use in a yoga class.
- For Samira’s “Devine Extension with Isis Wings” and Morwenna’s “Care for Your Wings to Keep Soaring,” you should bring your own set of Isis wings.
- For Yzzah’s “Raqs al Assaya – Powerful and Energetic Cane Dance,” you should bring a cane.
Rounding out the roster are a number of other engaging classes offered by our talented members and associates.
