Welcome to the INBC Member’s Only section! Here you can maximize your membership by learning more about individual benefits and how to take advantage of them. Note: you must be logged in to your individual or professional level membership in order to access some of the links below.
Your INBC Membership Card & Handbook
Be sure to print out your Membership Card, and review the Members Handbook. Your Membership Card validates your exclusive affiliation with us. Some members use this card as additional reference points when interacting with their local chamber of commerce, entry to INBC events & discounted entry for some events, and solidifies your membership with us. The Members Handbook contains our rules and regulations for being a member with our organization. From time to time this handbook will be updated. It is best to review it every two years as officers on the INBC Board of Directors change. If you have any suggestions for the handbook, feel free to contact us.
INBC Board Of Directors
To be an officer on the INBC Board you have to be elected by the active members within our organization. Voting starts in April or May of even numbered years with new officers taking their positions June 1 of the same year. Any member of INBC is eligible to run for office. Those who are interested in running will be asked to submit a photo plus a short bio and statement of position. Officers do not receive any compensation.
Those who are elected for a position serve in that role for two years. Officers are generally eligible to serve up to 2 consecutive terms (4 years total) in the same position. Positions on the INBC Board of Directors are: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Public Relations Officer, Events Coordinator, and Webmaster.
Regional Ambassadors
The Indiana Bellydance Collective has members throughout the state, and in an effort to better support happenings, events, public outreach, and instructors outside the Indy area, we have established a network of Regional Ambassadors. The Ambassadors act as local representatives of INBC
Learning Center
Our individual and professional level members have access to our online library of educational content. Here you will find many belly dance instructional videos prepared by some of the most accomplished and experienced teachers in the state. Watch in any order you want, watch as often as you like! Digital Pattern Library
Our individual and professional level members have exclusive access to our library of digitized belly dance costume patterns. These electronic patterns were created from our collection of rare, out-of-print physical patterns. Members can also make arrangements to peruse and borrow from our entire library of physical patterns. Please click the button below to visit the Digital Pattern Library page.
INBC's Scholarship & Grant Program
Because you are a member with us, you have access to assistance from INBC through the Scholarship & Grant Program. We want to support you in your endeavors related to MENAHT Belly Dance and Cultural Education.
INBC Private Facebook Group
The Members Only INBC Facebook Group is another way to interact with everyone. Our Facebook group is a private group for active members only. Most members use this page to advertise their classes, upcoming events, interact with announcements, and more.
