Welcome to the INBC online learning center! Here you will find belly dance instructional videos for the exclusive use of our individual and professional members. Watch in any order you want, watch as many times as you want; unlimited access is included with your membership. We recommend viewing in full screen!
INBC also offers occasional live streamed dance and music workshops that are free to members. Workshop instructors may provide a recording of their workshops, in which case the videos will be available on this page. Learn more about our streaming workshops here.

Phaedra Darwish - Complete Choreography to Zay el Hawa
Phaedra Darwish was the headliner for our 2023 Summer’s End belly dance event held in Evansville, Indiana. Phaedra has been performing and teaching workshops and classes in Chicago and throughout the US for many years, as well as producing and taking part in cultural events, community fundraisers, and dance festivals as both a musician and dancer.
Through active engagement, maintaining a high standard of execution, and participation in quality programming, Phaedra hopes to spread enthusiasm and respect for Middle Eastern dance as more and more people get acquainted with its health benefits and enchanted by its beauty.

Athena/Adam Riviere - "Improv Raqs" Drum Solo Workshop
Athena Howe is a Columbus, Ohio based dancer who has been performing professionally since 2008. She has performed at hundreds, if not thousands of events, both nationally and internationally. Now, she teaches, performs, and hosts events in her home city while staying dedicated to her personal practice and learning. INBC was fortunate to have Athena headline the 2024 Annual Bazaar!
Described by some to be “bold like hot sauce” or “basically the gay female Elvis” Athena is a grateful dancer who is dedicated to the work it takes to be a belly dancer. Be sure to visit her website: athenashimmy.com.
Adam Riviere is an Indianapolis-based musician and world percussionist. Adam has nearly 40 years of experience in various facets of the music industry, 15 published albums, and numerous collaborations. Adam has studied more than 30 world instruments and their cultures. He currently performs solo, with the Middle Eastern quartet Indy Raqs, as well as with various belly dancers and belly dance troupes all over Indiana, the US, and internationally. Laci "Samira" Watson - Complete Beginner Belly Dance Course
Growing up immersed in the world of dance at her brother’s studio, movement became Samira’s second language. In 2006, she discovered belly dance, which quickly blossomed into a lifelong artistic passion. Since then, she has become a versatile performer, instructor, and fire artist.
Samira shines in American Cabaret Bellydance, Raqs Sharqi, Romani, Turkish Orientale, Fusion, snake dancing, LED & fire prop manipulation. She is a unique showstopper who has been featured on stages all across the US and is making waves across the Midwest. From exotic, intimate venues to prestigious casinos, resorts and theaters, she has lit a spark of passion in her audiences in every setting. Her blend of traditional and contemporary styles weaves a tale of emotional expression through movement.
Beyond the stage, Samira ignites a love for dance in others. As the director of Inferno Vortex, she leads a high-adrenaline fire performance troupe.
