Stefanie Sweet & Taeya Christine of Solstice Sisters Productions are hosting 2 unique belly dance events on back-to-back weekends in September: A Weekend Immersion with Tamalyn Dallal (co-hosted with Tenth Muse Dance) and Raqs & Reset. Plus, they have extended an invitation to all INBC members including generous discounts!
While each weekend offers something distinctive, they share the same spirit: creating meaningful spaces where dancers can deepen their artistry, reconnect with themselves, and build lasting friendships within our community. BOTH weekends will feature a showcase, offering up an opportunity for you to shine in the spotlight!
The 1st: A Weekend Immersion with Tamalyn Dallal, September 11th-13th (Bloomington Illinois)—a special opportunity to spend an intimate weekend studying with one of the most influential artists and pioneers in our dance form. As Tamalyn celebrates her 50th year as a professional dancer and instructor, this immersion offers dancers the chance to explore her signature approach to movement, expression, storytelling & cultural understanding in a deeply personal setting. The 2nd: Raqs & Reset, September 18-20th in Duluth, Minnesota. We’re incredibly honored to welcome two absolute legends of the SWANA art form—Tamalyn Dallal AND Cassandra Shore—teaching in tandem for one unforgettable weekend. Opportunities like this are exceptionally rare, and we’re thrilled to bring their combined artistry, decades of experience, and passion for teaching to our dance community.
Joining Cassandra & Tamalyn in Duluth are Kryss Statho (New Orleans, LA), leading deeply restorative Dancemeditation™ sessions all weekend, and Erin Mariele (Bloomington IL) who will be taking students on a deep dive into Zoe Jakes’s DanceCraft Format (Key of Diamonds).
100% of net proceeds from Raqs & Reset will benefit the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, allowing every registration to support a vital cause while investing in our dance community (as well as YOUR OWN personal growth).
