It’s Mosey Down Main Street season in Lafayette, Indiana, and Troupe Oasis is continuing their long-standing tradition of performing and inviting all area belly dancers to join them!
In case you’re not familiar with the “Moseys,” Mosey Down Main Street is a street festival that takes place every summer on selected Saturdays in downtown Lafayette. The festival features food trucks, vendors and performers. Troupe Oasis’ belly dance show has been a fixture at these events for many years
The remaining Mosey dates for 2026 are June 13, July 11 (with Indy Raqs – see below), August 8, and Labor Day weekend on September 5. All troupes and soloists (from beginner through professional) are welcome to participate. The show is 7-9pm, so plan to arrive by 6:30 at the latest.

Dance to Live Music – Indianapolis-based, middle-eastern/SWANA style band Indy Raqs will be at the July 11 Mosey to provide live music for dancing! If you’re looking for a low-pressure opportunity to try out dancing to live music, this is it! Contact Deb in advance to request your favorite song.
