INBC's Scholarship & Grant Program Application

Thank you for your interest in the INBC Scholarship & Grant Program. All required sections must be filled out to be considered. When applying, please note that you can only submit your application once for the duration of the term. If you/your troupe/business is not awarded to be the recipient for your request, you are welcome to re-apply when submissions are open again.

Terms & Conditions

  • Member/Troupe Non-INBC Event Registration: Value to not exceed $50 to use for 1 event outside of INBC, as awarded one time per term. Applicant(s) must submit, along with this application, event information, pricing, and supporting information to be considered. (Example: Registering for a Dance Competition, Registering for a Festival Performance) If awarded to a troupe, all troupe members must be active members of INBC. Awarded Member/Troupe must include INBC in at least 1 acknowledgement for the event. Awarded recipient(s) is eligible to reapply once every 2 years. Applications are considered at Board Members discretion and may not always be available to apply for. Limited to 3 nonconsecutive recipients per calendar year when available.  
  • Member Training Assistance: Value to not exceed $50. Awarded recipient(s) are eligible to reapply once every 2 years. Applicant(s) must be an active member of INBC. Applicant(s) must submit along with this application curriculum information, pricing, reasons why they are in need of assistance, why this course would be beneficial, and the duration of the course. The course must be related to subjects similar to INBC’s scope. (Example: Belly Dance/MENAHT Training with a Master Teacher, Instruments/ Props Seminar or Workshop, Stylized Dance Certification related to Belly Dance/MENAHT.) If this event is an INBC workshop, active members are welcome to apply, list the workshop they intend to take, date/time. Applicant(s) understands that if awarded a scholarship for an INBC Workshop, they are eligible to receive assistance for 1 workshop from INBC, once every 2 years. Awarded INBC Workshop are limited to 2 nonconsecutive recipients per calendar year when available. Applications are considered at Board Members discretion and may not always be available to apply for. Awarded non-INBC Workshop are limited to 3 nonconsecutive recipients per calendar year when available. 
  • Members/ Troupe Event Planning Assistance: Value not to exceed $100. The applicant(s) must submit along with this application the type of event they are planning, pricing, and why they need assistance. If awarded to a troupe, all troupe members must be active members of INBC. The recipient(s) must include INBC in at least 2 promotions in the same year they are awarded as an affiliate in said marketing outreach. (Example: Listing INBC as an affiliate on their website with direct link to our www.isametd.com webpage.) Recipient(s) must allow INBC to setup a booth/table for the event with no additional cost to INBC and a discount of at least 10% to INBC members who attend the event. (This discount can be applied to entry fess, services, and/or goods.) The awarded recipient(s) can only receive this grant once. Awarded recipient(s) is eligible to reapply once every 2 years. Applications are considered at Board Members discretion and may not always be available to apply for. Limited to 2 nonconsecutive recipients per calendar year when available.
  • Members Business Registration Assistance: Value to not exceed $75 and awarded only once to an active member of INBC only. The applicant must submit, along with this application, the type of business they are registering, pricing, why they need assistance in registering, how long the registration is good for, and what organization/ where they are being registered. The recipient must include INBC in at least 3 promotions in the same year they are awarded as an affiliate in said marketing outreach. (Example: Listing INBC as an affiliate on their website with direct link to our website.) The recipient must allow INBC to setup a booth/table for at least 1 event at no additional cost to INBC from their business. The recipient also must give a discount of at least 10% for attending INBC members for the event. (This discount can be applied to entry fess, services, and/or good.) The recipient must be in good standings for registering their business for an association or entity registration on the state/ local level. The awarded recipient can only receive this grant once and will not be eligible to reapply. Applications are considered at Board Members discretion and may not always be available to apply for. Limited to 1 recipient per calendar year when available.
  • Emergency Member Relief Funding: Value to not exceed $75. Awarded recipient(s) must be an active member of INBC. Applicant(s) must submit reasons for needing assistance to be reviewed by Board Members. This scholarship is reserved for emergency situations only, and will be awarded one time to the recipient(s). Applications are considered at Board Members discretion and may not always be available to apply for. Limited to 2 recipients per calendar year when available.
